Building A Url Shortener Interface

Building A Url Shortener Interface

URLs can get quite long so they become aesthetically annoying. This is when URL shorteners come in handy.

Week four portfolio project for frontend dev(HTML, CSS and JavaScript) intern team-4 from side hustle Bootcamp

This is another project that we are asked to work on with the Backend dev team and the Quality Assurance team, honestly, when I and my assistant heard we are working with other teams from the other track again we are like omo e choke oo because of the nature of the previous project.

Meanwhile, for the project, we are tasked to build a functional URL shortener, and we are to implement the interface, the Backend dev will be building the API for the shortener while the Quality Assurance is to test the functionality. We are given four design options to pick from. After deliberating with a few of my team members we decided to implement the first design from the options which is the design by Kristoferson, check it out dribble As usual, we created a repository on GitHub cloned the repo in vs code editor, and started coding. After everything, we are able to commit and push our work.

Though we do have some little challenges we are able to finish the implementation of the interface and deployed it on netlify check it out team4urlshortener.netlify.app/

I think we have successfully done our own part it left for the Backends to do their part and for the Quality Assurance to chip in and do their stuff so that everything about this project will be lit.

Thanks to all my active teammates hope to continue this great collaboration till the end of this Bootcamp and beyond.
